Between this class and my English 215 class my opinion  of English classes have changed drastically. I used to think all english teachers were mean old people who used their class time to crush the sprits of their students. This class was the "cherry on top" that  changed my opinion. This class was actually fun and I really enjoyed it. This is my last  english class I have to take for both my majors and it was a good one to end on.

Logic Fallacies:

Athletic shoe commercials are really bad about logic fallacies. For example Air Jordan's, wear these shoes you will play basketball like MJ. This not the case, the shoe is merely a brand choice, it doesn't affect  the person althetic abilities.

Magic Mike Trailer 

This is the typical guy-girl romance where there is some conflict keeping the couple "a part". In this particular movie the guy is a  hot male stripper and the girl who he falls for is the sister of his young co-worker (who he is training). The sister has a problem with his life style, this cause the conflict. But surprisingly they end up together (I think) .

 

This statue says his guy is important. With his hands folded it makes me think of this fellow was wise and fair. 






He also has a serious look on his face and his head is bent down, this gives off a serious vibe. He is in a suite 






So he has to be official, maybe a business man.
